Efficiency in colour and mono

Technology company Sharp is exhibiting three new multifunction devices for the small office / home office sector at Paperworld 2009. The A4 colour printers’ impressive features include highly economical and straightforward operation and 48-hour on-site service. In addition, Sharp has optimised the systems’ design and overall dimensions.

Frankfurt, Paperworld 2009. Visitors to the Sharp stand (hall 4.0, stand B01) at Paperworld from 31st January to 3rd February 2009 will have the opportunity to experience for themselves the benefits of the new DX-C310, DX-C311 and DX-C381 multifunction printers. These extremely compact A4 devices  offer performance features normally found only in the large A3 systems: cost efficiency as a result of increased productivity and faster processing operations  is therefore one of the key features of the three multifunction devices.

In addition to system performance, great store was set by ensuring innovative features in the units. “The compact DX-C series can offer a great deal even if space is limited. One of the reasons for this is the integral finisher with stapler function”, declares Torsten Bechler, Product Manager Information Systems at Sharp Electronics Germany/Austria. “The system design also deserves mention. Sharp is setting a new trend and has created a milestone in the exterior design of its modern multifunction printers – chrome elements, a textured surface and black areas around the controls make our MFPs a real eye-catcher in every office”, Bechler continues.

A further advantage of the DX-C series from Sharp is their ease of operation. The digital multifunction printers with integral colour copier, scanner and printer functions each have a brilliant, clear display . Intuitive menu navigation through all the functions is therefore also guaranteed for the user. The positive operational features also include the uncomplicated changing of the toner, drum and developer. In the Sharp systems these do not form a single unit, which offers the advantage that the individual modules can be specifically replaced as and when necessary. The user can carry out this operation without external support on site. The positive environmental impact is obvious: instead of changing the complete unit, only the empty toner cartridge, for instance, is replaced.

“Environment-friendly use of material resources, high-quality design, an excellent technical specification and ease of operation are key features of our devices,” declares Torsten Bechler. “Furthermore, after-sales service with a new product is also very important to Sharp. The company therefore offers a two-year warranty on its multifunction printers and 48-hour on-site service. A technician will be on site within just a few hours to repair the machine,” concludes Bechler.

The new DX-C381, DX-C311 and DX-C310 modules are available from retailers with immediate effect.
