ISE 2012: Sharp outstanding with high brightness and interactivity

From 31 January to 2 February 2012, Integrated Systems Europe (ISE) will again be opening its doors in Amsterdam. Sharp, in addition to its extensive portfolio of professional displays and monitor installations, will for the first time be unveiling the prototype of its new interactive whiteboard, with a diagonal screen size of more than two metres (80 inches). In the field of high brightness displays, the company will also be presenting its new PN-A601 series of outdoor monitors with a brightness of 2000 candelas.

Distinctly bright: Sharp unveils high-brightness displays

Anyone who has struggled in vain to see something on a monitor in sunlight will know that good weather can also be something of a glaring problem. In particular, intense incident light can often make life difficult for operators of digital information systems. With the new high-brightness models PN-A601 and PN-V602, Sharp is now offering displays with a brightness of 2000 or 1500 candelas, able to render content in excellent picture quality and brilliant colours, even in extremely bright environments. The full-array LED backlighting of these displays guarantees optimal picture brightness. Additionally, the local dimming function ensures high contrast and particularly low power consumption.

Large-format touch displays: Sharp presents new interactive whiteboards with up to 80-inch diagonal screen size

From training to brainstorming to business presentation – interactive working is today a proven method for obtaining the best possible results in a minimum of time. The new touch monitors from Sharp make it simple to exchange knowledge between several people: available in 60, 70 and 80-inch screen sizes with full HD resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels, the PN-L monitor series faithfully delivers pictures that are clear and precise down to the finest detail. With its innovative detection software, any changes and comments can be immediately integrated in existing drafts on the monitor and then optionally saved or printed out.

Sharp presents New XXL Signage Display Solution

With the new e-Signage series, Sharp Microelectronics gets started in 2012 by concentrating on diagonals between 60 and 80 inches. The portfolio includes high-brightness screens with up to 2,000 cd/m², ultra high resolution displays, and large-size standard LCDs that are espe-cially optimised for applications in the signage sector.

The PN-E702 from Sharp – versatile, sleek and stylish

The new model of the PN-E monitor series brings an impressive combination of astounding picture quality, versatile applications and modern design. The full-array LED backlight combines with the full HD resolution to provide brilliant colours and an up to 40% reduction in energy consumption compared to conventional LC displays of this size. Despite its low weight, the device is extremely sturdy, and with its diagonal size of 177 centimetres (70 inches) it cuts a good figure wherever it is placed.

Versatility as standard: the PN-V monitor series from Sharp

Advertising displays, information terminals or video walls – the range of applications of professional displays for digital signage and event installations is almost limitless. The Sharp thin-bezel PN-V series has therefore been developed for the widest possible variety of specifications and applications, with three models, the PN-V600, PN-V601 and PN-V602, designed to satisfy all customer requirements.
